Equity Initiative Panel Discussion on Migration, Human Rights and Health (closed event)

Equity Initiative (EI) is a new program under the CMB Foundation to promote health equity in Southeast Asia. The EI has two core activities, to empower young leaders through the fellowship program and to foster network of individuals and organizations as a regional community for health equity. The 2016 inaugural fellows are from various fields and various countries in Southeast Asia and China.
One of the five learning events for the fellows is the “Asia Trek” which will happen in Thailand (Bangkok and Mae Sot) this August. The theme centers on migration and health equity. As part of this event, a panel discussion on “Migration, human rights and health” for the fellows will find place on 16 August, 10am-12 noon at SEA Junction. The speakers are Chayan Vaddhanaphuti of the Regional Center for Social Sciences and Sustainable Development (RSCD), Chiang Mai University and Achara Ashayagachat of the Bangkok Post.
