SUMMARY:ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS) 2025/2026
DESCRIPTION:The ACYLS is now open for 2025/2026 intake! This scholarship supports the following categories: \n\nMasters’ Degree Programme\nDoctoral Degree Programme\nResearch Scholars\n\nACYLS offer full scholarship covering all programme-related expenses including tuition waiver and other school fees\, accommodation\, round-trip international air fare\, comprehensive medical insurance and stipends. \nThe application deadline is 23 March 2025 at 11.59 P.M. (GMT+7). \nResult of the ACYLS 2025/2026 will be officially announced on the AUN Website in August 2025. \nFor more information on ACYLS application guidelines\, please visit the Guidebook. \n\n\n\nSupporting Category\nThe ACYLS 2024/2025 intake supports the following categories; \n\nMaster’s Degree Programme\nDoctoral Degree Programme\nResearch Scholars\n\n\n\n\nFinancial Scheme\nACYLS offers full scholarship covering all program-related expenses including tuition waiver and other school fees\, accommodation\, round-trip international air fare\, comprehensive medical insurance and stipends.\n\n\nEligibility\nApplicants of ACYLS should meet the following criteria: \na. Citizen of an ASEAN Member State (Brunei Darussalam\, Cambodia\, Indonesia\, Lao PDR\, Malaysia\, Myanmar\, Philippines\, Singapore\, Thailand and Viet Nam); \nb. In sound physical and mental health; \nc. Proficient in English (i.e.\, must possess an IELTS score of at least 6.0 or a TOEFL score of at least 80 points); \nd. Holder of an undergraduate degree and under the age of 45 if applying for a master’s degree; \ne. Holder of a graduate/master’s degree and under the age of 45 if applying for a doctoral degree; \nf. Having at least one-year work experience within government agencies\, public or private institutions\, universities\, think-tanks or similar social agencies\, and preferably has experience in the following: \n\nWork related to foreign and international affairs\, especially ASEAN and China-ASEAN affairs;\nWork or study in the PRC;\nAcademic work on China or ASEAN-related affairs;\n\ng. Not a concurrent awardee of a Chinese government scholarship; \nh. Meets other admission requirements of the Chinese universities to which the applicant has applied.\n\n\nApplication Procedures\nStep 1– Complete the online application by visiting CGSIS (Chinese Government Scholarship Information System) (Visit http://www.campuschina.org and click “Scholarship Application for Students” to log in). Online submission of the application is compulsory for each applicant by completing the application information and uploading all necessary supporting documents. \nStep 2– Prepare the application documents according to the “List of Application Documents” and upload all the required documents into the online application system. \nStep 3– After uploading all documents in the CGSIS website\, submit the online/softcopy of application form and relevant documents as .pdf files in the online application form of AUN Secretariat below before the deadline (22 March 2024).
