SUMMARY:Call for Submissions for the Journal of Lao Studies (Midwestern State University)
DESCRIPTION:We at the Center for Laos Studies and Journal of Lao Studies\, are accepting submissions of articles\, book review suggestions\, review articles (extended reviews of major publications\, trends in the field\, or of political\, social\, or economic events)\, and public policy recommendations. We had our most recent issue out in December 2025 – https://lnkd.in/gB_E2EnP \nThese submissions can cover studies on: \n\nLaos (all ethnic groups)\nLao residing in bordering countries (Northeast Thailand\, Northeast Cambodia\, Vietnam\, China\, and Burma)\nethnic groups bordering Laos with a representation in Laos (e.g. Akha\, Mien\, Khmu\, Hmong\, Tai Lue\, etc.)\nStudies in regards to Lao diaspora outside of Asia (the Americas\, Australia\, France\, Argentina\, etc.)\nPublic policy\nNGO and Lao civil society work\nAny time period\nAny discipline/field\n\nPapers will go through a double-blind peer-review.
