SUMMARY:Cambodia | 19th Angkor Photo Festival
DESCRIPTION:Angkor Photo Festival is calling for lens-based works from across the globe for the 19th edition of the festival\, in Siem Reap\, Cambodia\, from 19 to 28 January 2024. \nWhat is your north star when the world seems to be collapsing? In the weight of darkness\, how – or where – do you still find light? \nThis is an open call by guest curator Singaporean Ng Hui Hsien\, for works that respond to the theme of “enchantment”. While open to interpretation\, the theme seeks to be a step to collectively forge a path to wonder\, to connection\, to being a salve in the face of wounds. \nSelected works will be presented during the projections programme of the 19th edition of Angkor Photo Festival. \nAll forms of lens-based works are accepted\, including stills\, moving images\, and mixed media. Both completed and ongoing works can be submitted. There is no submission fee. \nYou can see more info via: Angkor Photo Festival application guidelines   \n  \nFestival Curation Team \nOur Open Open Call is back! We invite photographers from all over the world to share their projects for our 19th Edition’s festival open program. \nSelected works will be presented during the projections program of our 19th Edition\, held in Siem Reap from 19 – 28 Jan 2024. \nThere are no restrictions on theme or genre. We seek work that reveals\, informs\, or evokes; giving us a deeper understanding of our individual and collective existence. \nWe accept both stills and video work (under 5 mins). You will be asked to provide a link to view your work. Please ensure it is available for public viewing. If that is not possible\, please include the password alongside the link. \nThis open call is for all nationalities\, and there is no submission fee. \nPlease submit using the online form below. \nDeadline: 15 November 2023 \nQuestions? Write to us at submissions@angkor-photo.com \nShare on FacebookTweetFollow usSave
