DESCRIPTION: \nNgobrol with Father Greg Soetomo\, SJ\, about the Ups and Downs of Building Inter-Religious Dialogue at SEA Junction at 10-11 am\, on Tuesday\, March 27\, 2018. Followed by a potluck lunch. (Closed Event). \nFather Greg\, a Jesuit who is active in dialogue with Muslim community\, graduated cumlaude as a doctor of Islamic studies from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University in Jakarta\, May last year. He is active in various interfaith dialogue networks both in Indonesia and abroad\, as well as in institutions of Islamic studies\, such as Wahid Institute\, Jakarta; Nurcholish Madjid Society\, Jakarta; Maarif Institute\, Jakarta; and Abdurrahman Wahid Center\, University of Indonesia \nFather Greg also wrote many articles and books\, including his last two books 1) “Language and Power in Islamic History: A Historiographic Research” and 2) “Learning yo be Devout amongst Educated Muslim Communities: a Catholic Pastor at the UIN Syarif Hidayatullah”\, published by Obor . Father Greg is currently in charge of teaching “Islam and Christianity” course at the East Asian Pastoral Institute and Loyola School of Theology\, Ateneo de Manila University\, Philippines. \nNgobrol bareng Romo Greg Soetomo\, SJ\, tentang Suka Duka Membangun Dialog Antar Umat Beragama di SEA Junction pada jam 10-11 pagi\, Hari Selasa\, 27 Maret 2018. Kita lanjutkan dengan makan siang bersama\, potluck.
