DESCRIPTION:Deadline: March 31\, 2017\nVenue: Thailand\nProgram Period: 22 months \nThe Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst – German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is offering 13 scholarships for candidates from Cambodia\, Lao PDR\, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLV) countries to pursue their Master’s degree at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT)\, Thailand\, for August 2017 Intake. \nStudy Areas \nThe scholarships are offering in the following study areas: School of Engineering and Technology (SET) – http://www.set.ait.asia \n\nTransportation Engineering (TRE)\nWater Engineering and Management (WEM)\n\nSchool of Environment \, Resources and Development (SERD)  http://www.serd.ait.asia. \n\nAgricultural Systems and Engineering\nAquaculture and Aquatic Resources Management\nEnergy\nEnvironmental Engineering and Management\nFood Engineering and Bioprocess Technology\nGender and Development Studies\nNatural Resources Management\nRegional and Rural Development Planning\nUrban Environmental Management\n\nInterdisciplinary Programs \n\nCleaner Production\nDisaster Preparedness\, Mitigation and Management\nIntegrated Tropical Coastal Zone Management\nIntegrated Watershed Development and Management\nModeling Tools in Environmental Resources and Management\n\nEligibility criteria \n\nBe a bonafide national of Cambodia\, Lao PDR\, Myanmar or Vietnam\nHold a Bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 (or equivalent).\nAdditionally a TOEFL of at least 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) or IELTS of at least 6.0 is mandatory. DAAD does not accept institutional TOEFL reports.\nApplicants should be not more than 28 years of age when applying\nProspective applicants will apply directly to AIT.\nIn addition to AIT’s application package\, the applicant is to submit a CV (typed\, 2 pages at most) and a letter of motivation for the master’s study.\n\n**Notes: \n\nAIT shall forward the eligible application dossiers (pre-selected according to DAAD/ AIT requirements) to DAAD along with a list of applicants ranked according to AIT criteria by first week of April 2015.\nThe final decision will be taken by DAAD screening committee.
