SUMMARY:Grant Opportunity: Strengthening Feminist Movement 2022-2023 by Women’s Fund Asia
DESCRIPTION:The Strengthening Feminist Movements (SFM) grantmaking programme is focused on supporting women\, girls\, trans\, and intersex rights activists\, groups\, and networks working on the local\, subnational\, and national levels. \nEligible organisations are invited to download the call pack and apply via email or an online form. Please scroll down to read the eligibility criteria. \nThe common threads that run through the grants under this programme are: \n\nPromoting feminist principles and a rights-based perspective in women\, girls\, trans\, and intersex rights work in the region\, the key components of which are decisionmaking\, agency\, and voice;\nStrengthening the leadership of women\, girls\, trans\, and intersex people\, especially second-line leadership; and\nNetworking and collaborations among groups and activists working at local\, subnational\, and national levels.\n\nApplications can be made online or via email. The online application form is only available in English and can only be submitted in English. If you are applying in one of the other languages listed above\, please download the relevant form and email your application to applications@wf-asia.org by the deadline. \nPlease refer to the checklist for required documentation in the call package and ensure that your application is as complete as possible before submitting via email. \nDeadline \nThe deadline for submissions is 29 July 2022 at 2 pm Sri Lanka time/GMT+5:30. Please write to applications @wf-asia. with the subject line ‘SFM Call 2022 – 23 Inquiry’ for any queries while the call is open. \nGrant size and duration \nIndividual grants will be up to USD 5\,000 for a period of 1 year.  \nOrganizational grants will be of two categories: \n\nOne-year organizational grants up to a maximum amount of USD 10\,000. The annual budget of organizations\, groups or networks applying for this must not exceed USD 50\,000.\nTwo-year organizational grants up to a maximum amount of USD 20\,000.
