SUMMARY:In Search Of Hope-Full Futures: Fresh Climate Imaginations Through Games\, Fiction & Dialogue
DESCRIPTION:Background \nSEA Junction will be participating in this year Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW)\, a city-wide initiative inspired by the London Climate Action Week. BKKCAW brings together public programs\, the arts\, exhibitions\, policy labs\, and community-led experiments to foster whole-of-society engagement that is bold\, hopeful\, and transformative. \nIn this interactive presentation and workshop\, participants will be invited on an imaginative journey that challenges dominant techno-apocalyptic climate narratives and opens space for alternative visions of Asia’s future. Through cross-disciplinary dialogue and creative engagement\, the event seeks to inspire reflection\, foster new perspectives\, and spark hope in the face of climate change. \nThe program consists of two parts: a panel on Fiction\, Imagination & Climate Agency\, which explores how speculative storytelling can inspire fresh perspectives on climate futures\, and a game-based workshop\, Climate Dreams & Dynamic Disruptions.
