DESCRIPTION:The first of SEA Junction Conversation Series on Regional Development will focus on the impacts on local communities of the Sino-Myanmar oil and gas pipelines planned to link Myanmar’s deep-water port of Kyaukphyu (Sittwe) in the Bay of Bengal with Kunming in Yunnan province of China. \nThe speaker\, independent researcher and development expert Zaw Aung will present the results of a research he recently conducted for the Myanmar-China Pipeline Watch.
