SUMMARY:JF Southeast Asia Partnership (JFSEAP) Program / Grant Program for Japan-ASEAN Global Partnership
DESCRIPTION:This program is designed to support institutions and organizations that promote intellectual dialogue and collaboration on common issues that Japan and ASEAN countries should jointly address\, with the purpose of contributing to build a multi-layered network and trust between Japan and ASEAN in the fields of intellectual exchange and the development of human resources for the next generation. \nThis grant covers a portion of the costs associated with international conferences\, symposiums\, workshops\, training programs\, and other activities conducted by organizations in Japan or ASEAN countries that aim to solve common global issues. \nEligibility \n\nProposals must be from non-profit organizations based in Japan\, ASEAN countries (Brunei Darussalam\, Cambodia\, Indonesia\, Laos\, Malaysia\, Myanmar\, the Philippines\, Singapore\, Thailand\, and Vietnam)\, and Timor-Leste.\n\nEligible Projects \nProjects must be policy-oriented research and collaborative initiatives (e.g. conferences\, symposia\, seminars\, workshops\, etc.) by Japanese and ASEAN researchers and practitioners aimed at resolving common issues that Japan and ASEAN should jointly address. \nPossible topics include climate change\, disaster resilience\, energy issues\, economic security\, social and economic disparities\, public health\, AI\, and urbanization; however\, projects outside these categories can also be eligible if they meet the goals of the grant program. \nGrant Coverage \n\nPersonnel & honoraria (honoraria for lecturers\, researchers\, collaborators\, and interpreters\, staff salaries\, etc.)\nTravel (international and domestic transportation\, accommodation\, meals\, etc.)\nConference costs (room rental\, audio and visual equipment rental\, advertising\, etc.)\nReport & publication costs (editing\, website creation\, translation\, printing\, etc.)\nOther direct project costs (purchase of reference materials\, etc.)\nIndirect costs\n\nGrant Period \nMaximum 2years \nApplication Procedure \nDownload the application documents from the links below. \n\n(Form A) Japan-ASEAN Global Partnership Application Form\n(Form B) Project Narrative\n(Form C) Project Schedule\n(Form D) Budget Sheet\n(Form E) CVs and Bios for Collaborators and Key Participants\n(Form F) Consent of Collaboration\n(Form G) Organizational Information\n\nDeadline  and Submission \nApplication deadline: December 2\, 2024 (Monday) 23:59 (Japan Standard Time) \n\nSubmit the following application documents (a)-(g) by email attachment to gp1_asean_grant＠go.jp.
