SUMMARY:Short Film Camp 2024
DESCRIPTION:During the program\, the 12 selected teams of producers-directors will work with mentors to develop their writing\, directing\, and producing skills. The program will culminate in a final pitch of their short film projects. \nFour winners of the final pitch will receive funding of 5\,000 USD and a post-production package at White Light Post and Kantana Sound Studio to produce their short films. Two runner-ups will receive complimentary invitations to Platform Busan at Busan International Film Festival 2025. \nShort Film Camp 2024 will take place in Bangkok\, Thailand from December 11-20\, 2024. It is kindly supported by White Light Post\, Kantana Sound Studio\, Platform Busan\, and Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) or CEA for the venue at Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC Bangkok). \nEligibility \nApplicants must be a team of director and producer\, who are citizens of Cambodia\, Laos\, Myanmar or Thailand\, or belong to a stateless community residing in these countries. \n\nBoth team members must be aged 35 or under (born in 1989\, or after).\nApplicants must be able to attend the full program in person. The program will be conducted in English.\nThe director must have made at least one short film\, but not yet directed a feature film or series before.\nThe producer must not have produced a feature film or series before.\nProducers may apply with multiple projects\, while directors may only apply with one project.\nIf you are an SFC alumni\, you can only apply in a different position.
