SUMMARY:Southeast Asian LEARNING EXCHANGE on Sexual and Reproductive Health (Closed Event)
DESCRIPTION:This Learning Exchange is a program of the Forum for Family Planning and Development\, Inc \nof the Philippines. It consists of a week study tour intended to provide a group of Pilipino local policy makers\, service providers and CSOs including youth leaders from five provinces in the Philippines an opportunity to come together in order to learn about effective strategies and good practices in implementing sexual and reproductive health programs in Thailand and more generally Southeast Asia. \nThe various activities in the Learning Exchange are designed to create a venue for participants to: \n\nDialogue and share among partners in the Philippines about their own implementation of SRH programs from their respective provinces\nObserve and learn about effective strategies and good practices in program implementation from NGO and government run facilities in Thailand.\nGain more knowledge from SRHR experts and advocates about the latest data and information on current and emerging SRH issues that could have policy and program implications.\nStrengthen the project implementation team and local partnerships as well as to network with other champions in the South East Asian region.\nImprove skills to be better SRH advocates.\n\nFor the forum/seminar at SEA Junction on March 5\, 2PM – 5PM\, a panel will be organized to give participants insights into contextual and policy issues shaping SRH approaches and interventions.
