DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Symposium on Social Science is a biennial international event of Center for Southeast Asian Social Studies (CESASS) UGM\, this year CESASS UGM is back with Symposium on Social Science (SOSS 2020)! This year SOSS 2020 presents with the main theme ‘Rethinking the Social World in the 21st Century’ to address social change in this fast world society. It has not only redefined the way in which we interact with one another\, but it is also changed the nature of power within society. This symposium would provide an ideal academic platform for students\, researchers\, policymakers\, and experts to present the latest research of their findings on social sciences\, describe emerging technologies in the social world also the directions of social science itself. \nSelected papers will be published as edited volume book\, also as part of IKAT: Indonesian Journal of Southeast Asian Studies (indexed by DOAJ and SINTA) and in a special issue with Pacific Journalism Review (indexed by Scopus).
