DESCRIPTION:Conference Date: 17–18 September 2025 \nPlace: Paramadina University\, Jakarta\, Indonesia \nDeadline: 15 June 2025 \nLife in Indonesia’s democracy is covered by various forms of administration and responsible management exhibiting these practices in companies\, civil groups\, organizations\, and especially the public government. Democracy and good governance are essential\, especially in these challenging and unsettled times. Indonesia has witnessed an electoral democracy with changing democratic norms and practices since the previous century. \nThe focus of the 18th International Indonesia Forum Conference Good Governance and Democracy in Indonesia is on examining various aspects of democracy\, good governance\, and management practices in all their different forms in Indonesia\, from religious practices to cultural activities and groups\, from company or project management to the different levels of the government including assessments of the current state of Indonesian democracy on both the local\, regional as well as the national level. All good governance practices can contribute to the improvement and safeguarding of a brighter future for Indonesia. The opposite\, however\, can also be true; case studies of failure can also provide lessons for a better future.  Hence\, the International Indonesia Forum once again calls to the community of scholars focused on Indonesia to gather and share their research and expertise. Your voice is needed. \nThe 18th International Indonesia Forum conference will be held on 17–18 September 2025 at Paramadina University\, Jakarta\, Indonesia\, and will be organized in the broader framework of the Paramadina University initiative of the International Conference on Democracy\, Prosperity\, and Peace: Problems and Prospects. Persons wishing to present papers at the 18th International Indonesia Forum conference are invited to submit a short CV and one-page abstract in electronic form (PDF or Microsoft Word) to Dr. Frank Dhont at frank.dhont@iif.or.id and secretariat@iif.or.id\, respectively\, by 15 June 2025.
