DESCRIPTION:OVERVIEW \nProfessional Development Grants (PDGs) provide support for mid-career conservationists to pursue short-term\, non-degree training to upgrade their knowledge and skills. These trainings can include short courses\, certificate trainings\, or conferences among other training opportunities. \nPDGs support training-related costs\, including registration fees and tuition\, meals and accommodations\, books and materials\, international travel\, visa fees\, and local transportation. With New York City as a cultural resource\, the program provides space for interdisciplinary experimentation\, mentored project development\, and cross-cultural\, critical discourse at the intersection of photography and social justice. During the program\, Fellows work on projects in their home communities* with support from Magnum Foundation’s mentors. \nMagnum Foundation covers the cost of travel and room and board for the sessions in New York City. Fellows also receive a modest stipend to support the production of their projects. DESCRIPTION:About \nRecent development which occurred during the last two decades in the Asia Pacific region\, there were some meticulous challenges towards the existing progressive peace where it is achievable only by having consistent assessment and efforts to prevent conflict. Culture of Peace as conceptually consists of “Values\, attitudes and behaviors that reject violence and prevent conflict by tackling their root causes to solve problems through dialogue and negotiation among individuals\, groups and nations” must be endorsed in everyday to achieve peace. DESCRIPTION:Description: \nThe Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report\, formerly known as the Education for All Global Monitoring Report (GMR)\, is an editorially independent\, authoritative\, and evidence-based annual report that monitors progress in education in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)\, which have been adopted as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development\, with special focus on SDG 4 on education. \nThe GEM Report Fellowship programme\, supported by OSI\, aims to strengthen the evidence base on education\, particularly in emerging economies\, build research capacity in education\, and reinforce the links between research\, policy\, and practice in education. As such\, the fellowships will be open to exceptional individuals who have quantitative research skills\, demonstrate a potential for transformational impact in their domain\, and share a commitment to provide more people with better educational opportunities. \nThe GEM Report Fellowship programme will support academic researchers and research-oriented policy-makers to carry out studies in the area of international and comparative education with a special focus on:\n1. Utilizing the GEM Report’s data resources\, notably those household and school surveys linked to the World Inequality in Education database\, to strengthen analyses of global\, regional and national education trends on issues of access\, equity\, inclusion and quality; \n\nStrengthening the content of the GEM Report with respect to its coverage of important issues at the regional and national level\, through evidence-based analyses of educational policy and practice;\ndvancing the SDG 4 monitoring agenda\, especially on issues related to the global and thematic indicator framework that have been highlighted in previous reports;\nSupporting the themes of forthcoming GEM reports\, e. inclusive education in 2020 (including a special focus on (i) disability (ii) Latin America) and the role of non-state actors in education in 2021.\n\nLocation : France \nBenefits \n\nEach fellowship will last between six months to one year\, depending on the work to be carried out\, with one month spent in Paris. The GEM Report team will provide:\n* A stipend (up to US$25\,000) for the duration of the fellowship (up to one year) and full travel costs for at least one month to be spent in Paris for each of the fellows;\n\n* A mentor from the team of GEM Report researchers.
