We’ve been working to organize a space for youth to have direct dialogues with AICHR and on AICHR and learn more about AICHR. All About AICHR is part of SAY-HR-SEA (School of Advocacy for Youth on Human Rights in Southeast Asia), co-organized by ASEAN Youth Forum, Plan International, and AICHR Indonesia. The event is supported by AICHR Thailand, AICHR Philippines, ASEAN Working Group on Human Rights Mechanism at Ateneo Human Rights Center (AHRC), FORUM-ASIA, ASEAN SOGIE Caucus, and Child Rights Coalition Asia (CRC ASIA).
Over three days of the sessions, The activity aims (1) to provide a conversing platform about human rights mechanisms in ASEAN and ways we can move forward together for the advancement of human rights in the region and (2) to raise awareness among the public, especially youth about AICHR and its engagement opportunities to advance human rights in Southeast Asia.
