นับตั้งแต่ถือกำเนิดขึ้นในปี 1992 ระหว่างการประชุม Earth Summit ที่เมืองริโอ เดอ จาเนโร ประเทศบราซิล “การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน” ได้กลายเป็นคำศัพท์ที่ชี้นำ การพัฒนาทั่วโลก เป้าหมายดังกล่าวเป็นไปตามเส้นทางที่เน้นย้ำเป้าหมายการ พัฒนาแห่งสหัสวรรษ (MDGs) ในปี 2000 และพัฒนาไปสู่เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ในปี 2015 ซึ่งเสริมสร้างกระบวนทัศน์การพัฒนาใหม่ของโลก ให้แข็งแกร่งขึ้น ตามข้อมูลของ UN หัวใจของ SDGs ที่กำหนดโดยวาระการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนปี 2030 ของ UN คือ 17 เป้าหมายหลักที่เรียกร้องให้ทุกประเทศดำเนินการเพื่อยุติความ ยากจน และความไม่เท่าเทียมอื่นๆ สิ่งเหล่านี้ต้องดำเนินไปควบคู่กับกลยุทธ์ที่ช่วย ปรับปรุงสุขภาพและการศึกษา ลดความเหลื่อมล้ำ และกระตุ้นการเติบโตทาง เศรษฐกิจ ในขณะที่ต้องช่วยจัดการกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ และการดำเนินการเพื่อรักษามหาสมุทรและป่าไม้ ความท้าทายประการสำคัญคือ: ทำอย่างไรจึงจะแปลงเป้าหมายทั้งหมดให้เป็น ความมุ่งมั่นและการดำเนินการที่เข้มแข็งได้อย่างแท้จริง? เพื่อแปลงแนวคิดและความท้าทายที่อยู่เบื้องหลังเป้าหมายเหล่านี้ให้คนเข้าใจได้ง่ายและลงมือปฏิบัติได้ สำนักข่าว Bangkok Tribune จึงได้จัดทำโครงการ บทความภาพถ่าย “SDGs I The Depth of Field” ในปี 2565 โดยการ สนับสนุนจากมูลนิธิ Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Thailand Office ตีความ และ แปลงแนวคิดดังกล่าวนำเสนอต่อสาธารณะผ่านบทความภาพถ่ายของช่างภาพชื่อดัง และเพื่อสร้างความตระหนักในประเด็นการวางเป้าหมายการพัฒนาประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในช่วงเวลาของการเปลี่ยนผ่านทางการเมือง ทางสำนักข่าวฯ และ พันธมิตร จึงได้จัดงานเวทีเสวนาและนิทรรศการภาพถ่าย SDGs l The…
