เสวนาเรื่อง “วัฒนธรรมหนังสือโดยเริ่มต้นจากความพิการทางสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์” Book culture begins with print disability
“ความพิการทางสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์” เป็นประเด็นทางสังคมที่เริ่มมีความเคลื่อนไหวเชิงนโยบายระดับสากลเกิดขึ้นในช่วงทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา ผ่านสนธิสัญญามาร์ราเคชเพื่อให้การทำซ้ำดัดแปลงสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์อันมีลิขสิทธิ์ สามารถตอบสนองและเข้าถึงได้โดยผู้พิการ และแม้ว่าสังคมไทยจะมีหน่วยงานภาคประชาชน รูปแบบสมาคมและมูลนิธิที่ทำหน้าที่หลักในการผลิตสื่อประเภทต่างๆ ทั้งหนังสืออักษรเบลล์ หนังสือเสียง หนังสืออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เผยแพร่ผ่านช่องทางเฉพาะที่ผู้พิการเข้าถึงได้ในระดับชีวิตประจำวัน ถึงกระนั้น การขาดกลไกสนับสนุนสื่อส่วนรวม ทำให้หนังสือยังเป็นเรื่องการอ่านส่วนบุคคล มากกว่าการเป็นประเด็นปัญหาที่สังคมจะจินตนาการร่วมกันถึงการมีพื้นที่และหนังสือที่เข้าถึงได้จริง พร้อมกันสำหรับทุกคน โดยเฉพาะการผลักดันให้เกิดนโยบายสาธารณะที่คำนึงถึงหนังสือสำหรับผู้พิการทางสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์เป็นอันดับแรก ด้วยเหตุผลว่าสภาวะหลากหลายของความพิการทางสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์นั้น หมายรวมถึงผู้ยังไม่พิการและผู้มีข้อจำกัดในการอ่านซึ่งเกิดได้หลายกรณี การนำเสนอประสบการณ์ของผู้คนที่เกี่ยวข้องในระบบหนังสือส่วนรวมนี้ ทั้งผู้ผลิต ผู้เผยแพร่ และผู้อ่าน อาจนำมาสู่การถกคิดและขับเคลื่อนประเด็นความพิการทางสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์ให้เป็นประเด็นทางสังคมในวงกว้างยิ่งขึ้นไป ผู้เสวนา กิติพงศ์ สุทธิ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันคนตาบอดแห่งชาติเพื่อการวิจัยและพัฒนา สโรชา กิตติสิริพันธุ์ บรรณาธิการสำนักพิมพ์ผีเสื้อปีกบาง กนกวรรณ สมศิริวรางกูล ภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ผู้ดำเนินรายการ เพ็ญพิชชา จรรย์โกมล งานเสวนานี้มีการดำเนินรายการเป็นภาษาไทย และเป็นเสวนาจากโครงการวิจัย “วัฒนธรรมหนังสือโดยเริ่มต้นจากความพิการทางสื่อสิ่งพิมพ์”ภายใต้ชุดโครงการศึกษาระบบนิเวศและโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ส่งเสริมศักยภาพวัฒนธรรมการอ่านและอุตสาหกรรมหนังสือในฐานะฐานรากของเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ สนับสนุนทุนการวิจัยโดย บพค. ปี 2568 ร่วมจัดโดย SEA Junction มีเป้าหมายเพื่อกระชับความเข้าใจและความซาบซึ้งในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ในทุกๆ มิติของสังคมวัฒนธรรม นับตั้งแต่ศิลปะ และวิถีชีวิต ไปจนถึงเศรษฐกิจและการพัฒนา ตั้งอยู่ที่ห้อง 408 ของหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานคร หรือ หอศิลป์ฯ กรุงเทพ (อยู่ตรงกันข้ามกับศูนย์การค้ามาบุญครอง ใกล้กับรถไฟฟ้าบีทีเอส สถานีศูนย์กีฬาแห่งชาติ) SEA Junction อำนวยการให้สาธารณะเข้าถึงแหล่งความรู้ และการแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างนักเรียน นักศึกษา, นักปฏิบัติ และผู้ที่มีความชื่นชอบในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ สำหรับข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมโปรดดู www.seajunction.org ภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและมานุษยวิทยา คณะสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ https://www.facebook.com/soanthrocmu
