Film Screening and Discussion “Undaunted: Voices from Myanmar’s Resistance”

16 December, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Regardless of all the risks, Myanmar people are still peacefully protesting against the junta all over the country. Although they may face risks of being arrested, tortured, killed or even traumatized, they still continue to walk on the road of peaceful protests undauntedly.

The documentary “Undaunted” is about Myanmar people who still protest against the military junta amid threats and difficulties. And, it is about why they are still protesting? What did they sacrifice? What are the traumatic impacts after they get arrested or being killed? Watch trailer at https://vimeo.com/755181183.

Produced by Athan – Freedom of Expression Activist Organization and 1O1fps Production, the documentary will be screened on 16 December 2022, 6.00-7.30 pm at SEA Junction. Following the screening, the film director Aung Naing Soe will join us virtually to discuss on the film. Debbie Stothard, an active promoter of human rights in Burma and the ASEAN region, will also be present to comment on the film.
