Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages led by the curatorial team. These are:

- A shortlisting of submissions. This usually accounts for 30-50% of submissions and includes a system of anonymous voting by the team and any invited others. Proposals for the works and/or projects to show are considered at this stage but please note that while BAB offers technical support, to be discussed later with the curator, we do not commission new works/projects.
- Individual interviews of shortlisted artists and/or collectives over Zoom, led by the curatorial team, no later than the 15th January 2024.
After the interview a final selection will be made and each successful artist or collective will be assigned to a BAB curator to finalise the work/project for BAB 2024. All submissions will be notified of the outcome by 31st January 2024.
