Project Background
A team of healthcare workers and volunteers undertook proactive stands to combat the spread of Tuberculosis (TB) within their own country. The Mediversal team aims to increase awareness and provide necessary education about the disease, its symptoms, and prevention methods. In many cases, people often dismiss the early sign of diseases which presents as mild symptoms, and do not take the necessary precautions which contributes to the greater spread of the serious disease.
With support from the SEA Junction’s small grants program “Staying Resilient Amidst Multiple Crises in Southeast Asia” 2024 with the support of the China Medical Board (CMB), the Mediversal team was able to provide the necessary health screening, and education to their most vulnerable communities.
