Mekong Migration Network (MMN) and SEA Junction present Beyond “Tolerance”: Living Together with Migrants, a photo exhibition and documentary video, in collaboration with documentary photographer Mr. John Hulme, in Bangkok from 8-16 October.
Taking a human angle, this documentary tells the story of the return to Buru island of writer and former political prisoner Hersri Setiawan accompanied by his daughter and his friend and also former prisoner Tedjabayu.
The provision of impunity to human rights violators is the biggest challenge for ensuring accountability. This was the general conclusion of the panelists at the event Confronting Elusiveness: Demanding Accountability in Southeast Asia.
For the launching of SEA Junction, we would like to invite you to the following two events, both on Saturday 25 June 2016:
1) Panel Discussion on Confronting Elusiveness: Demanding Accountability in Southeast Asia at 9.30am at Asia Centre and
2) Launching of SEA Junction at 5.30pm at BACC
Officer Position
This position is key to the functioning of the center and will be shaped as SEA Junction develops and becomes more established. Its main trust is to deliver front-line services to internal and external visitors and users of SEA Junction in order to meet their needs and realize SEA Junction’s mission of sharing information and resources on Southeast Asia
