Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) 2025

Background

SEA Junction will be participating in this year Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW), a city-wide initiative inspired by the London Climate Action Week. BKKCAW brings together public programs, the arts, exhibitions, policy labs, and community-led experiments to foster whole-of-society engagement that is bold, hopeful, and transformative. Convened by the Just Transitions Incubator (JUTI) in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), BKKCAW is not just an event—it is an open invitation to reimagine climate action from the ground up and build pathways toward lasting impact.

Here at SEA Junction, we will be hosting the following panels:

• 30 September 2025 at 10:30–12:30 – Bridging the Gap: Global Just Transition Pathways for the Global South organized by Institute for Global Decarbonization Progress
• 1 October 2025 at 14:00–18:00 – In Search of Hope-Full Futures: Fresh Climate Imaginations Through Games, Fiction & Dialogue organized by Abundant Climate Action Institute)
• 2 October 2025 at 13:00–15:00 – CSOs Role in Ensuring a Fair and Transparent Power System for the Renewable Energy Transition organized by Solutions For Our Climate

SEA Junction, established under the Thai non-profit organization Foundation for Southeast Asia Studies (ForSEA), aims to foster understanding and appreciation of Southeast Asia in all its socio-cultural dimensions- from arts and lifestyles to economy and development.
