Asia Insight Technology will host a research launch and panel discussion, titled Decoding Myanmar’s 2026 Economy, to share findings from qualitative interviews with Myanmar stakeholders conducted under existing social, and political constraints. This research, based largely on perspectives from civil society actors, displaced communities, and economic stakeholders operating beyond formal state structures, explores how political, economic, and social risks are currently perceived and navigated. The findings examine significant uncertainty and structural fragility, while also highlighting a common hope for peace, trust-building, and longer-term stability. Approached through an investment and economic lens, the event maintains a neutral stance and encourages forward-looking discussion on the conditions needed for recovery, responsible engagement, and sustainable development, without losing sight of present challenges.
