FORUM-Asia 2024 Report Launch: Business and Human Rights in Asia

Event Background

SEA Junction invite you to the Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) launch of their Annual Flagship Report on Business and Human Rights (BHR) in Asia 2024. This comprehensive publication identifies and analyzes case studies, trends, testimonies, challenges, promising practices, and recommendations from across Asia. Drawing on national case studies from Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and Central Asia, the report sheds light on the realities faced by rights-holders while providing insights to inform policy debates and mobilize collective action. Its goal is to advance corporate accountability, strengthen access to remedy, and protect civic space across the region. Researcher and writer of the report will be presenting significant findings and statistics from Central, South and Southeast Asia regarding new developments on business and human rights.
