Launching and Discussion of the Book “Bangkok Rasa Lokal”

On 25 April at 1-3 PM SEA Junction will host the launching of the book “Bangkok Rasa Lokal; Wisata Anti Mainstream di Bangkok dan Sekitarnya” or “Exploring Bangkok like Locals; Anti-Mainstream Destinations in Bangkok and Surroundings”. Written by three Indonesian women, Irene Diyah, Decita Tulyastri and Pungki Utami, the book is unique in that it presents their view of Bangkok, as inhabitants of the city, for an Indonesian public. There insights provide an alternative to mainstream guidebooks and stresses the importance of going off the most beaten tracks to discover more of Bangkok.
At the event two of the writers, Decita Tulyastri and Pungki Utami, will share their reasons to write the book and explain more about its content. The event will be in Indonesian, but if non-Indonesian speakers are interested, translation will be provided. The book will be for sale at the special price of TBH210 (normal price for Thailand TBH 220).

Pada tanggal 25 Juni 2017 pada jam 1 – 3 PM SEA Junction akan mengadakan launching buku “Bangkok Rasa Lokal; Wisata Anti Mainstream di Bangkok dan Sekitarnya”. Buku ini sangat unik karena ditulis oleh tiga penulis perempuan Indonesia dan mendiskipsikan kota di mana mereka tinggal untuk publik Indonesia pula. Infomasi yang mereka memberikan mengundang wisatawan Indonesia agar menelusuri tempat-tempat yang “tidak mainstream”.
Pada acara peluncuran, dua dari tiga penulisnya, Decita Tulyastri dan Pungki Utami, akan membicarakan kenapa mereka menulis buku tersebut dan memberi informasi tambahan mengenai isi. Bukunya akan dijual dengan harga khusus TBH 210 (harga biasa untuk Thailand TBH 220).
