MSB Berita- CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS (SUMMER 2020)

We are inviting submissions for the next issue of Berita, the Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Studies Group’s (MSB) newsletter (first published in 1975). If you are interested in making a submission, please contact me at the email below. The submission date is June 15, 2020. Submissions may be of any length and are subject to editorial review. Authors don’t need to be AAS/MSB Group members. Short contributions on timely issues – including the covid19 crisis – are very welcome. We are also very interested to publish teasers for forthcoming larger publications.
Submissions may take the form of any of the following (and we are open to other suggestions):
- Articles (length flexible)
- Commentary on Current/Past Events
- Research and Field Reports
- Book or Film Reviews
- MSB Member News
- Photo essays
- Announcements (event announcements, CfPs, grants, vacancies, …)
Early-career researchers such as graduate students conducting thesis research are particularly welcome to introduce their research to the wider community of scholars.
MSB MEMBERS: Please submit Member Notes! (updates about your work, new publications, new projects, new affiliations, planned/past events, …)
