Webinar #2: Sharing Best Practices, Challenges and Ways Forward in Implementing CRPD During Pandemic: Physical and Mental Integrity, Right to Education, Right to Work

The objectives of this webinar #2 are to:
- To share best practices on ensuring the inclusivity of COVID-19 responses, its challenges, lesson learnt and ways forward on issues related to the right to respect physical and mental integrity, right to education, right to work.
- Recommendation for AICHR: (a) on the implementation of ASEAN Enabling Master Plan 2025: Mainstreaming the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the ASEAN Community, particularly on the right to respect physical and mental integrity, right to education, right to work during COVID-19 and (b) reducing barriers and discrimination and promote the role, inclusion and participation part of recovery and resilience strategies to exit from the pandemic crisis.
- Identification of possible synergies and cooperation among human rights institutions and stakeholders working on the rights of persons with disabilities in ASEAN concerning the right to respect physical and mental integrity, right to education, right to work.
