In October 2019, the World Bank launched the “Thailand Young Artists: Our Country, Our Future” art contest, as part of the 70th anniversary celebration and launch of the new Country Partnership Framework between the Government of Thailand and the World Bank Group, to create an opportunity for the new generation to express and voice their aspirations, goals and opinions on the critical issues facing the country and the future of Thailand. Over 300 Thai children and youth from across the country sent artwork. From these many entries 50 artworks were selected to exhibit on the 5th floor, BACC.
