Dear Partners and Friends of SEA Junction,
A month has passed since the recent 7.7-magnitude on March 28, 2025 and many are still struggling to rebuild a life amidst devastation. Together with a group of photographers from Myanmar we will present the visual documentation of the disaster’s impact, to call for support to be distributed through local credible channels. Our next #WhatsHappeninginMyanmar will also provide an update of the latest situation in the country.
Shifting the focus to the region, we will hold two book discussions on very diverse topics, namely comics in Southeast Asia and Cambodian migrant workers’ challenges to regularization in Thailand, along with the monthly mini Book and Craft Fair.
We hope you will continue to find our program of interest. We count on your participation and help in sharing the information about our programs with your network and hope in your support (see below). SEA Junction relies on community members like you to be able to maintain our venue and continue our work at a time when civic spaces and resources for civil society are curtailed all over the world.
