Rosalia Sciortino’s article was published in The Irrawady about the new Bangkok Mural, a SEA Junction project in partnership with the ILO and supported by various individual and institutional donors, which centers and recognizes their experiences and contributions, is located near the heart of Thatland’s capital city. “Together We Build” is a new mural by Chuu Wai and Co. In the author’s words, “the mural affirms their resilience, dignity, and indispensable roles in shaping societies.” The Mural itself is a product a collective process, from the ideas and experiences of migrants, through the hands of the diverse group of volunteers who have contributed their time in painting this mural together.
