Announcement: Closure of the Cartoons and Comics Competitions “Cartooning the ASEAN Way of Non-Interference and Consensus”
SEA Junction, in collaboration with Asia Justice and Rights (AJAR), invites cartoonists, comics creators, artists and arts collectives from countries in Southeast Asia to reflect on the future of the role of ASEAN in addressing current and emerging issues in the region.
SEA Junction would like to thank you all for participating in the “Cartooning ASEAN Way” comic and cartoon competition. The submission period has now closed. We will be announcing the results of the competition at the end of August 2024, stay tuned!
In total, we have received 68 works from over 58 participants from 8 countries in Southeast Asia. This can be categorized into 16 Comics and 52 Cartoons.
