The Just Transition Equation: Metrics, Markets, and Momentum for the Global South | สมการการเปลี่ยนผ่านที่ยุติธรรม
30 September, 2025 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Background
SEA Junction will be participating in this year Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW), a city-wide initiative inspired by the London Climate Action Week. BKKCAW brings together public programs, the arts, exhibitions, policy labs, and community-led experiments to foster whole-of-society engagement that is bold, hopeful, and transformative.
As part of the BKKCAW, the panel titled “The Just Transition Equation: Metrics, Markets, and Momentum for the Global South | สมการการเปลี่ยนผ่านที่ยุติธรรม” brings together civil society leaders and policy analysts to explore just transition gaps and solutions, with a focus on actionable frameworks for the Global South, particularly Southeast Asia. It examines progress under global initiatives such as the UNFCCC’s Just Transition Work Programme, the Just Energy Transition Partnership, and the role of carbon markets, while highlighting the need for measurable indicators to strengthen collaboration across sectors. This event will be held in English.
