Southeast Asia for Communication Designer – CommMA Student Presentations

SEA Junction will be hosting students from CommMA (students from the MFA in Communication Design) at our venue on Friday 5^th December 2025 from 1.30 – 4.30 pm. Join us for an engaging seminar featuring CommMA students as they share insights, findings and emerging projects shaped by Southeast Asia’s evolving communication landscape.

From tourism narratives to online child-trafficking awareness, from drunk-driving awareness to innovative public-facing communication strategies, each presentation offers a unique perspective on how design can confront real regional challenges.

An afternoon of ideas, dialogue, and design features. Open to all who are curious about communication designs in Southeast Asia.

CommMA (MFA in Communication Design), is a two-year international programme offered by the Department of Industrial Design within the Faculty of Architecture of Chulalongkorn University. Critically addressing contemporary design and the contexts of Southeast Asian cultures, CommMA aims to be a centre for the investigation, production and archiving of practices that shape design as research-driven, experimental and socially conscious.
