Biography
Ye Thway Ni (pseudonym) was born on January 1, 1991, in Bago, Bago Region, Myanmar. From a young age, he pursued an interest in painting and art, participating in school competitions where he won numerous awards for painting, cartooning, and posters. In 2013, he stepped into the world of cartoons, contributing his work to online media and newspapers. Later, in 2018, he earned certificates from competitions in Croatia and Indonesia. In 2019 and 2020, Ye Zarni Aung won the Webtoon and Theme Prize awards at the SICACO Cartoon Competition in South Korea. By the end of 2021, he moved to Thailand, where he continues to create news cartoons under the pseudonym Ye Thway Ni for various media outlets. Recently, he has also participated in the ASEAN Cartoon Competition.
