Event Description

Focus on the Global South, in collaboration with SEA Junction, hosted a special launch of Global Battlefields: Memoirs of a Global Activist by Filipino scholar and activist Dr. Walden Bello, who shared reflections on his lifelong journey across struggles for social justice, democracy, and human rights. The event is a part of the 30th year anniversary celebration of Focus on the Global South. The book was introduced by Dr. Naruemon Thabchumpon, Associate Professor of Politics and Head of the Center of Excellence on Migration and Development at Chulalongkorn University. The program has been broadcast live on SEA Junction’s Facebook page and is now available to watch on YouTube and SEA Junction website.
