From 18–30 November 2025, the exhibition “Face of Phra Khanong” by British-American photographer A. R. Criswell was displayed at the 4th Floor Curved Wall of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), with an opening event organized by SEA Junction on 18 November from 5.30–7.00 pm at SEA Junction Venue, 4th Floor, BACC. Through black-and-white photography, the exhibition documented the everyday lives and livelihoods of people in Bangkok’s Phra Khanong neighborhood, including street vendors, motorcycle taxi drivers, canalboat operators, and small business owners who sustain the city’s informal economy. Capturing a community navigating rapid urban change, gentrification, and modernization, the exhibition highlighted the resilience, adaptability, and social importance of informal workers whose contributions remain vital to Thailand’s economy and urban social fabric.
