As part of its 15th-anniversary celebration, Rapid Asia held a public discussion at SEA Junction on 28 February 2025 from 4.00 – 7.00 pm on the roles of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of social development work in the region. The event, titled “Reflections on AI for Social Innovation,” was hosted in a hybrid format, welcoming participants both in person and online, with the aim to explore the multiple dimensions of artificial intelligence (AI), including the growing influences of AI, its impact on employment and education, and roles of AI in the development sector in Southeast Asia and beyond.
