Lisa Maharani is a research assistant, enumerator and assistant lecturer in the architecture and planning department at Syiah Kuala University, Aceh, Indonesia. She is also a graphic designer and illustrator who loves art, books and history.
T.H.A. is from Myanmar but currently in asylum process in France and a member of Visual Rebellion Myanmar, he also made art for Info Birmanie (poster of movie and short video for a campaign on bank financing the junta, and give his paint made in Thailand to artist shelter at Mae Sot.
BANGKOK, THAILAND // SEA-Junction, in collaboration with Asia Justice and Rights (AJAR), produced an engaging and thought-provoking collection of works by artists from across Southeast Asia titled “Cartooning the ASEAN Way of Non-Interference and Consensus” at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC)
After a successful opening on 22 October, the unique exhibition “Cartooning the ASEAN Way of Non-Interference and Consensus” continues in the first week of November and displays the cartoons and comics of artists in the region on the role of ASEAN.
