February at SEA Junction was full of colors and art forms, from the discussion of activism and art in Singapore to impressive dances, photographs and painting classes and exhibition from Indonesia. In March we will continue some of these activities, while also focus on other dimensions of Southeast Asia.

January saw a series of events on migration exposing the urgency of improving the work and living conditions of migrants and enhancing respect for their rights through engaged discussion and telling art media (photographs and comics).
The occasion was an exhibition of photographs at the SEA Junction (‘South East Asia’ Junction) by Mahmud Rahman, a Bangladeshi professional photographer, and I had the privilege of being invited to the opening event.
